Motorized Shades Care & Maintenance Guide
QUICK CARE CHECKLIST
• Keep the shade path, sill, and side channels clear of furniture, décor, cords, toys, and debris.
• Dust fabric and hardware gently with a clean microfiber cloth, soft duster, or low-suction brush attachment.
• Do not pull the shade fabric by hand or force the hem bar. Use the approved remote, wall control, app, or automation command.
• Avoid harsh cleaners, bleach, solvents, steam, and abrasive tools. Follow the fabric manufacturer’s instructions and test any approved cleaning method in a hidden area first.
• Keep motors, controls, chargers, and power supplies dry.
BATTERY AND POWER CARE
Use only the charger, battery, or replacement part specified for your installed system. Rechargeable and replaceable-battery products have different procedures, so check the product label or contact our team before servicing the power source. After a power outage, allow the system to restart and avoid repeated reset or programming attempts.
WHEN TO REQUEST SERVICE
Stop operating the shade and contact us if you notice grinding, repeated stopping, uneven travel, fabric rubbing, frayed edges, loose hardware, water exposure, overheating, or a control that no longer responds after normal battery and power checks.
WHAT NOT TO DO
Do not remove brackets, open a motor housing, alter wiring, lubricate the motor or tube, or reprogram limits unless you are following the exact instructions for your installed model. Unauthorized repairs can damage the product and may affect warranty coverage.
